*jess* Posted January 10, 2022 #1 Share Posted January 10, 2022 Good morning! We are docking in Villefranche-sur-mer in October, and we are wanting to do a quick jaunt over to Monaco, have lunch there, then take the train to Nice to visit the Hard Rock and walk around. We are in port from 7a-8p, is it possible to visit both places in one day? I know that we won't get to take in a full tour or really immerse ourselves. Knee Deep Posted January 10, 2022 #2 Share Posted January 10, 2022 Yes. In May 2019, we flew into Nice after our 14 day TA on the Indy, rented a car and spent a leisurely four hours in Monaco. The Grand Prix course was setup and we walked alongside the barriers near the harbor and up a hill to the casino. Although we were dressed in shorts and tees, we were allowed in and played a few rounds of slots. Gorgeous yachts were docked in the harbor and in the bay. Continued on our journey spending another 3 weeks in Italy, Switzerland, Normandy and Paris.

You have plenty of time, but go to Nice first. The flower market is not to be missed, but it closes down by noon-1pm. Looking at the time you have, you also have time to stop in Eze on the way to or from Monaco. If interested, search this board for transportation ideas.
