Tested positive 15 days before....

Hi - Looks like we will be cancelling our Jan 29th cruise given hubby and I have both tested positive for COVID.  My question now is whether we are eligible for a refund or must take a FCC?  The policy says 'tested positive or exhibits COVID symptoms 14 days before'.  Does anybody have any experience trying to get a refund after testing positive?

thx

I recently tested positive 2 days before our cruise; it was no problem getting a refund. If you are concerned because it is more than 14 days before, I would think you could test again within the 14 day time frame and use those test results to get your refund.

The issue is the date of your test, if anyone at RCI bothers to look at it - otherwise that's the only thing you need for a full refund.
