Passports in the Caribbean

probably not....if you think about a port like St Maarten, with 5 ships there on a particular day, averaging 2300 pax per ship, I suspect that the authorities do not want to hire people to spend their days just stamping almost 12,000 passports.

 

and, to clarify,...it is not that passports are required for cruising in the Caribbean, they will be required for you to get back into the US....big difference.

We did St.Martin in December with Princess and our passports were not stamped. Went to Nassau in October with RCCL and our passports were stamped. Guess it varies.

 

bubbadog: Stamp for the Princess Passport Cruise book or Stamp for the person's travel passport? We collect the Princess stamps in a passport book for each ship we've sailed on.
