E ticket

We have checked in on-line for our transatlatic crossing on QM2 on 15th Feb and have our boarding pass which shows the time as 3.15pm, with the last boarding time as 4pm. Does this mean that we should arrive at the terminal in Southampton at 3.15? This seems a little late to do all the checks. Also our cabin has not yet been assigned so we cannot get an e ticket or luggage tags. On previous cruises these have been assigned much earlier than this. What will happen to our luggage if we get to the terminal with tags? Sure this is all due to Covid restrictions but we have never, on our many cruises, have had these problems.

The time on your Boarding Card is the 'correct time  that you arrive at the Terminal' for your Covid Test.

(Take no notice of the 4pm time mentioned)   During this present climate to adhere with sensible social distancing procedures, check-in and boarding are being 'staggered', the ship will not depart whilst you are still in the process of checking-in or waiting for you confirmation of your test result/s.

Re your cabin assignment : There is no need to be concerned about this, I've been known to have a cabin assignment at the check-in desk.

Re Luggage labels: Additional /spare Luggage Labels are always available from the shoreside porters, one just needs to complete 'name and booking ref number,' luggage will 'eventually' find it's way to your cabin , just make sure you see that your luggage has been loaded onto the conveyor belt.

An E ticket is not always necessary , one just needs to present your passport and boarding card .

Just to add: If you are using CPS car parking refer to the instructions for the venue of the testing centre  (information on your confirmation invoice)

If you are arriving by any other means ( eg Taxi etc) you proceed direct to the test centre adjacent to the Cruise Terminal .
