We have enjoyed Halloween on cruise ships many times, but never on a Holland America ship. We will be on the Noordam, sailing to the South Pacific  for 34 days this Halloween.  Does HAL make a big deal out of Halloween with  decorations and a deck/dance/costume party?  We have always brought costumes and enjoyed the festivities on other ships/ cruise lines. Any info is appreciated!

We were on the Noordam transatlantic many years ago.  I remember some people wore costumes and there was some sort of costume party.  We did not costume.

Last year we were on the Rotterdam transatlantic.  Again some people were in costume, and some decorations.  There were 900 passengers on a 2700 passenger ship, so it did not seem unusual for a low key Halloween.
