Jeep or Safari Bus tour?

We are thinking of an island tour that has the combo of mountain top, a bit of shopping, then lunch and beach...has anyone done one of those? Not sure if I can name names but looks like Godfrey Tours, Surfari and a few others...any recommendations? Don't mind being with others but don't want a really crowded tour! We will be on the Symphony in port from 7am to 4pm...Thanks!

We were there several years ago and toured with David of David's Private Fun Tours (davidsfuntours.com).   He is very knowledgeable, and took us everywhere we wanted to go.   It was just us (2 couples).  Picked us up at the cruise port and began the day with a scenic drive up to Moutain Top with stops at Skyline Drive Overlook & Drake's Seat.  Don't forget the Banana Daiquiris!!  He entertained us the whole way with tidbits of information only locals would know!!   We then drove back down to the open air market, then went on to Paradise Point for more amazing views and their famous Bushwackers!!   Finished off the day with a couple of hours at Magen's Bay!!   It was a great day!!

Yes these are the shared group tours and we’ve not taken them but they are popular, especially for first time visitors. That is the typical tour, and often the majority votes on the beach where you get a short time.
 

I like the previous poster’s suggestion of a private tour, if you can share the cost with another couple it is soooo much nicer than the typical cookie cutter group tour…We did that with a deprived who has since retired and it is a much nicer day!
