Taxis to West Bay and Price

I understand it takes about 45 minutes to get there from mahogany bay. Are there taxis readily available? Cost?

There are taxi avaiable BUT the rates are not regulated, it is all about the haggle. Also, finding one for the return who is not going to attempt fleeceing you knowing you have to be back at the ship could prove a challange. 

 

For this reason many of us reccommed chosing a daypass with transportaion option. If you wish to be steps from easy access to reef snorkleing, Infinity is the closest. Also you could look in to the Tabyana option. Infinity shares a property line with Tabyana. If you are ok with walking down the beach a bit to the shorkle spot, Paradise Beach Club and Bananarama offer days passes with tranport. I understand Discover Roatan offers packages with day passes and transport for a fair price.
