Hotel between FLL and Miami cruise port?

Hi all,

 

We are flying into FLL late the night before our cruise which leaves from the Miami port. I have 2 questions. Best hotel between the FLL airport and the cruise port? Transport from that hotel to the Miami cruise port?

This company is commonly used for transport to and from Lauderdale to Miami port. They have a list of Hotels just south of the airport that they pick up from. Most are within a mile or two of the airport. Have used them  a few times and was happy with there service. It is a shared shuttle so they do stop at a few hotels before heading to Miami Port.

www.sunny.org has lots of FLL area hotel info.  Your best bet is to stay in the FLL area and then use a shared shuttle (fares start at about $15 per person each way) or Uber to get to POM.
