cruise_gal21 Posted February 14, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2022 We will be sailing on Carnival Ecstasy in April if we get my 1yo’s vaccine exemption. We got 2 interior cabins with connecting doors on the inside (this was cheaper than putting all family members in one cabin). Essentially our oldest kiddo will have a cabin to herself, but I prefer to leave the doors on the inside that connect to each room open. Do these doors have something that help hold them open and keep them from closing? If I remember correctly the bathroom door has a magnet or something that does this. Do the connecting doors have the same thing? If not what would be recommended to bring onboard to help accomplish this? TIA!
Guest BasicSailor Posted February 14, 2022 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2022 Just ask your room steward for a door stop, or bring your own.
Guest BasicSailor Posted February 14, 2022 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2022 But I should mention that door slamming is popular on Carnival ships 🙃. Just lay your head down on that pillow and that super soft Carnival mattress, SLAM!
CascaisCruiser Posted February 14, 2022 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2022 We were recently on the Magic and our connecting doors did have magnets (or something) that kept them open. Hopefully all of the ships are the same.
