Rare fb0075 Posted February 18, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2022 Going on the HARMONY---are their games during the day? night? Is the only tournament still to qualify for a later cruise tournament? THANKS
msuspartabigten Posted February 18, 2022 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2022 It's been a couple years since we've cruised, but my past experience was that you had to generate enough interest and a list of people to get a cash game going. Once they had enough, they'd start the game and once the game was started, there was a lot more interest. The earlier this happened in the cruise, the earlier each day the games would start once people got used to it.
OverBored62 Posted February 18, 2022 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2022 When I sailed in November, I was told the free cruise tournament was suspend due to covid concerns. And I saw several games begin just after lunch. Really depends on demand.
resetjet Posted February 21, 2022 #4 Share Posted February 21, 2022 Just got off oasis. With the half full ships its hard to get a game going. We got one on every night. Same 10 guys. Torney was on one sea day. $100buy in and 50% to winner and 30% to second. Better off chopping unless very uneven. Rake is high too. 10% up to $15. neverbeenhere Posted February 21, 2022 #5 Share Posted February 21, 2022 Always try to find a suite cruiser with a like for poker. Some suites have enough room. I always bring two packs of sealed cards. Sometimes the suite is me. No rake issues.
