Bed near balcony or bathroom
msuspartabigten replied to sellwingri's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Got it, I was thinking the room to the right of the connecting rooms was the "right" room. But I see, it's the right room of the connecting rooms. Thank you! -
Bed near balcony or bathroom
msuspartabigten replied to sellwingri's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Ok, now I'm confused. We're in 12714, to the right of connecting rooms would would say that the bed should be by balcony. But we have 4 people which according to your statement would have the bed by the bath? -

Activities available while docked
msuspartabigten replied to KimA75's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We've been to so many of the ports now that we actually prefer to stay on the ship because it's empty. The waterslides, flowrider, rock climbing, just about all activities are still open, but with no lines. -
Keep in mind, you may benefit from non alcoholic drinks as well. You'll get any soda, waters, red bulls, etc included. I love being able to grab a bunch of bottles waters before leaving the port or stocking up the fridge for night or morning waters. We also start the day off with a red bull. Then sometimes during the day we're just in the mood for a coke. If you take all that into account, you don't even need to come close to 7 alcoholic drinks. Just food (or drinks in this case lol) for thought. Lastly, I also put some value on not having to sign for drinks every time like you have to without the drink package.

We just did that Odyssey southern cruise over Thanksgiving and we're doing Wonder in 3 1/2 weeks. We have done Allure in the past though. I think that both are unique enough that it's really tough to compare. I loved Aruba and Curacao though. Our Wonder cruise has (imo) not desirable ports but we're doing to for the ship. My kids loved Odyssey (actually did it twice in 2022) but personally, I prefer the Oasis class. Bottom line is I'm really no help lol but you can't go wrong with either.

Switching devices with Voom
msuspartabigten replied to megs193's topic in Royal Caribbean International
It's very easy. I shared my mom's last cruise and when you login, it just tells you that you're going to kick someone else off. Then when the other person wants on, they just login and it does the same. -

Kids Dining with Adventure Ocean?
msuspartabigten replied to Kymberlyfarr's topic in Royal Caribbean International
On our cruise 6 weeks ago, it was closed during those hours. My son never wanted to go to dinner with us and wanted to go to AO so I would take him to the windjammer while my wife was getting ready and then he'd go to AO and we'd go to dinner. -
RoyalUP? (Bid for stateroom upgrade)
msuspartabigten replied to John&LaLa's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Thank you! We've only done Junior Suites so I'm really looking forward to possibly having a real suite, maybe a crown loft! Did you get notified? Or did it show a different room number in your app? That's where I keep checking to see if my room number changes. -

Thanks everyone. I was just wondering as we're 40 days out and I check everyday and was wondering if I'm wasting my time 😂 -

What is the earliest people have heard back that their bid was accepted? -
They have it at every bar we asked. They had that, regular, and many other flavors.

We're heading out on Wonder in about 6 weeks. I'm going to call my TA to see if I can get a waterfall view room, guessing they're all taken though. -
They might not think they will make it, but they are willing to take the risk to be here. That shows how bad they have it compared to what they think it'll be like here.

The lack of a bathroom in playmakers drove me nuts! We are actually sailing Odyssey again tomorrow though, great ship overall.

Confused about Black Friday DBP Sale
msuspartabigten replied to poocher's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I had it at 62.99...then the cart couldn't process my credit card or so it said....then for about 30 minutes it showed it as booked in my order history. Now it's gone and the price shows 72.99 😞 -
We did MTD in april on Odyssey and had zero issues. We always ate at about 7pm, made reservations each day for our time. There was one time we waited 20 minutes because we always wanted the same table and waitstaff and the family before us was still there, but that was our choosing. If we just wanted to eat, there would have been no wait.

What exactly is an "Infinite" room on Icon
msuspartabigten replied to LuCruise's topic in Royal Caribbean International
How is this any different than a balcony door being opened in the morning? We do this exact same thing, keep it cold as possible all night, open the balcony in the morning while getting ready or having coffee. To me this is better than a balcony. All the benefits of having a balcony, because that window is really the same size as the balcony opening to fresh air, but also having the benefits of having a larger room that can be cooled if you keep it closed.
