Have you had any of those things happen on a cruise that you were on, or are they only hypothetical?🤣

All cabins are normally cleaned by 1:30 pm. Even if the steward thought the other couple was staying in the same cabin, it still should have been cleaned by 1:30 pm. That’s true. I hadn’t thought about that. Unless the family staying there came back and rested on the bed and used the toilet etc. It definitely looked lived in. This was quite a while ago, on ncl, in Bermuda. Ship docked in King's Wharf, lot's of drinking and partying goes on at night (on shore)...apparently one (very drunk, non-American) passenger stole a rather large piece of art and successfully got it off the ship. There was all kinds of trouble.... rumor is they got him back onboard and kept him in lock up (like ship arrest?) and when we got back to port (Philadelphia, I think), we were all delayed getting off the ship because we had to wait for officials to come get him (police?)
popeyesChickenSandwich Posted February 26, 2022 #29 Share Posted February 26, 2022 @cruisinqt I’m glad that worked out, have fun! I really wanted to chime in and thank you for sharing your experience about booking two rooms with casino offers. My wife and I get the same, but we’ve never tried booking both and swapping sleeping arrangements… we’ve always wondered if it’s viable and sounds like it can be done 🙂

That’s why I post these things so that others can learn from my experiences or mistakes. We book separate cabins all the time, sometimes with our adult kids or sometimes with our friends, then switch up once we’re on the cruise. We’ve never had any problems at guest services, people do it all of the time. Just make sure they have the correct credit cards attached to the correct cabins so no one gets someone else’s bills and you’re good to go.
