Anyone ever had a female cruise director??

Hallo,

we had a female CD on a Transatlantic Crossing in the Fall of 2002 on board the Brilliance of the Seas, I am not quite sure, but I think her name was Clodagh O´Connor. She was great. It was exactly one year after Sept. 11 2001. The service and how she " moderated" this day was unforgetable. I will never forget the service held in the theater. Shivers down my spine.

On our ROS Cruise in 2003 we had a female CD. Do not remember her name but she was the worst CD I have ever seen on all of my cruises.

Another one here for Becky "Hello Luv" Thompson on Voyager last year. Perky, nice, friendly and IMHO, a fine CD. I think she is on Brilliance now...

We had one female CD on Princess nothing memorable about her, the only laughs she got were the polite ones. She seemed more into herself then the passenger's! On NCL Dawn the restaurant Aqua was completely run by women, from the manger's, waitress, ass't waitress, & the chef's. I must say it was one of the most efficient restaurant on board.

I have never "HAD" a female cruise director on any of the cruises I took. Come to think of it, I have never "HAD" a male cruise director. I do always "HAVE" my wife on every cruise I take. :)

On several of our DCL trips abaord the Magic there was a female cruise director......same one several years running.

Can't remember her name, but on the NCL Dream Oct of 04 she was everywhere on that ship and had everbody rock'n and roll'n the entire cruise, what fun we had on that cruise.

Word on the HAL board is that Dottie Kalusa is retiring. She and her husband are opening a comedy club in Orlando.
