Rome to Venice April 8th, 2022

We recently found out Regent was s not docking near Venice, in fact about 2 hours from Venice.  Very disappointed with this change as Venice was one of our highlights.  We are now docking in Trieste.  Has anyone been there?

Will this be true for Navigator as well as the other ships?  Does Navigator ever go there?

Yes, I was in Trieste Fall 2021 on the Splendor.  If you aren't able to go to Venice (and we were not due to time) I suggest you visit Miramare Castle, the former home of Archduke Maximilian.  The grounds are fabulous and wonderful to walk through. We didn't have time to go inside.  There is a charge (I don't remember what it was).  Touring the grounds is free.
