Using Carnival Gift card and OBC to pre purchase Cheers

Morning Y'all, quick question.

I read that after( I believe) March 15th you can use OBC before your cruise towards purchases towards the cruise , excursions and such. Could i combine that with a Carnival gist card as well to buy the cheers package before our cruise?  We already have Drinks on Us included. But not sure how much that actually covers for my daughter and myself . Thank You for any help!

I just purchased an excursion and wifi using a gift card and I was surprised to see that OBC was one of my payment options. I used OBC and a portion of the gift card to complete the purchase.
