CrzRani Posted March 12, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2022 I tried to search in the forum my question, but didn't find anything that helped. My husband and I, each, got the same casino offer that we want to use. Obviously my husband and I will be in my room, but we want to use my husband's offer for our brother-in-law & wife. Is it possible to reserve the 2nd room without my husband having to put his name in it? Otherwise it will be my husband his brother reserved in one room and his wife and me in the other. A small inconvenience with room keys, since the savings is too good to pass up. Any suggestions is appreciated.
ArchieCruise Posted March 12, 2022 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2022 The person receiving the offer must be registered in the room. You could potentially have them reassign key cards once on board but on paper you would need to book him in the other room.
Virga Posted March 12, 2022 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2022 We have booked all of our casino offers this way - each of us with a TBA in our room, in the hopes of someone joining us. No way to do what you're hoping, you'll have to go through the (fairly minor) inconvenience. We have this for a cruise to Alaska and can't believe that we can't find anyone that wants to do this with us for the price we were charged!! Yes, I guess I'll have to do what has been mentioned above about just putting each of our names on each room as a single and add one of them later on. Appreciate the feedback and have fun in Alaska! We booked another casino offer we got for Alaska in June and spent more on our excursions by far than the cost for the offer. Nuts!

You can book 2 cabins, 1 under each casino offer. You don't need to add them later if they're definitely going. Book the 2 women in 1 cabin and the dudes in the other cabin. It is no big deal to switch room keys once onboard.

Well depending on dates, I'd be more than willing to pay for it. queenoftheqpons gmail
cruisinqt Posted March 13, 2022 #7 Share Posted March 13, 2022 We just did this last month on the Horizon. Just book your husband and his friend in the first cabin then you and the other friend in the second cabin. Be sure to purchase both at the same time and link the bookings so you can be seated together for dining. Once on board go to guest services and have them move you to your preferred cabins. They’ve never given us a problem about it. But you can’t do it ahead of time or you’ll lose out on the casino offer. It can only be changed once you’re on board.
