Transportation from Sanford Int Airport to Port Canaveral Hotel?

We are flying in on Allegiant so our airport will be Sanford.  Best ideas for getting to our hotel in Port Canaveral that night?  Flight lands just before 11pm.  Trying to figure out what is the most financially reasonable but also not a miserable ride!

Can you not spend the night in a hotel near SFB instead? Your arrival time plus transportation time makes it terribly late.

I agree with Vic, unless you are willing to Uber to PC getting a rental or shuttle that late will be a challenge.  Find a hotel near the airport and then make your way to the port the next morning.

I looked at shuttles from Sanford to Port Canaveral and Uber.  They were so expensive and shuttles were not willing to pick up at 11+ at night.  Uber for one was a $125 estimate so we just decided to reserve a rental car at the airport and drive to our Port Canaveral hotel Thursday night.  We will be keeping the rental until we return it near the port on Saturday.  $300, give or take, but we will have a minivan and can drive it all day Friday to shop, eat, etc.  Not cheap but we will have some flexibility that way.  And since our flight is direct and only about an hour and a half we won't be exhausted to the point that a drive to PC will be an issue.  Thanks for the advice!
