cruisetexas Posted March 26, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2022 Has anyone visited Ocho Rios on a Carnival cruise recently? We were scheduled to visit Santa Marta in Columbia on our April Panama Canal cruise. Carnival cancelled that port and replaced it with Ocho Rios, but to date, has posted no excursions. Someone in a Carnival chat posted that Carnival has cancelled visiting Ocho Rios through the rest of the year. Thanks for any help,

Aj101 Posted April 8, 2022 #3 Share Posted April 8, 2022 We where there last week. The ship excursion was great but the port merchants where super aggressive. We had to run back on board quickly, would’ve loved to shop more otherwise. One merchant tried to steer my sister-in-law with a big stick. I’ve been on 5 cruises previously and never experienced this within the terminal. Wished I’d bought more of the blue mountain coffee though. Is the coffee worth the hassle of dealing with the vendors? I've always heard the Blue Mountain Coffee is very good. Will be there in a couple of weeks. Have been several times, but have never purchased the coffee - was always ready to get back on the ship and get out of Jamaica.
