Specialty Restaurant App Reservation

When booking specialty restaurants in the app before the cruise do you pay at that time or do you pay at the restaurant?

If you book on the app, you will also pay on the app.  If you book onboard, then the charge will be added to your onboard account.  If you are booking the complimentary dining perk, then you may be able to book and not be charged or maybe not.  Please locate a very long, detailed thread that has already been posted on this same subject.  Seems some folks breeze through and get immediate credit while others have spent hours on the phone trying to get the dining credit and were unsuccessful.  Good luck.

We are going on a B2B starting tomorrow. Our TA was able to reserve Sabatini's for us for our free speciality dining that is included with each cruise. But I cannot reserve Crown Grill for the second cruise without paying for it in advance. I'm going to wait until we are on the ship and schedule in person. I'm concerned that so many passengers have the free specialty dining promotion that it will be hard to get an early reservation.
