No Ocho Rios?

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

I'm on a Carnival Vista cruise that was supposed to stop in Ocho Rios in Feb 2023 but it got changed to Falmouth. I was looking at cruises on their (CCL) site, and it looks like most if not all of their itineraries (in Feb 2023) which were supposed to stop in Ocho Rios now stop in a different Jamaican port. Why are they making this change? Thanks!

My understanding is port scheduling is getting somewhat congested with the return of certain ports and more ships. Ocho Rios is a fairly busy port so I'm sure given that, adjustments are being made. I'm not sure why they're choosing certain ships over others though.
