Basketball Anytime Or Restrictions?

You can't play basketball when they have volleyball scheduled - usually a couple of hours each day. They have a lot of balls but we usually bring our own. I have seen kids playing in bare feet and flip flops so I am not sure if the shoe rules are every enforced.

If your son wants to take the ball and carry the ball, I would not hesitate to let him do so. Sometimes the balls tend to disappear around the court when the sports staff is not manning the sports deck. Additionally, the balls provided are generally crap. If you son likes basketball and will get his fair share of use out of the court, he will probably enjoy having his own ball. The one warning, he may have others who think his ball is the ship's ball and he may have to ask for the ball back if he gets to playing with a group.
