Rare BirdTravels Posted April 7, 2022 Author #102 Share Posted April 7, 2022 How about pampering yourself with a massage? The spa is the place to be. (Remember, the Spa personnel get evaluated and keep their jobs based on reviews and the amount of products they upsell. Don’t get upset about the hard sell, just politely decline). Rare BirdTravels Posted April 7, 2022 Author #103 Share Posted April 7, 2022 Do you feel the need for speed. Run, don’t walk, to the speedway for the race of your left (and I am not talking about driving over the edge off the ship).

The Rye & Rum Sour is the best!! When we were on the Escape in January, I got one from the Tobacco Road bar and then the Haven bartenders spent the rest of the week trying to duplicate it. They couldn't do it exactly because the blood orange puree is on tap at Tobacco Road (& Maltings I presume), so they couldn't make it in the Haven. If you happen to read this while at a bar could you ask if NCL still carries Godiva dark chocolate liqueur? If you cannot ask (or just plain dont want to🥴) no problem. Just wondering as I don't see it on any of the newer bar menus floating around CC nor have I seen the Rum Cake martini on any of them either (that liqueur is an ingredient). Great pics and hope you are having a fabulous time. I inquired at a couple of bars which should have it. Neither did. The bartenders were not very clear if it is discontinued or just out of stock.

Thanks for all the updates, hope your trip is going fantastically. Testing Day. Good Luck. The Bird has been using eMed because it was first recommended by Royal Caribbean, then NCL. Fast, efficient, done while sipping coffee at home. And we found that our insurance company will cover the full cost of the test kits (although the US Government only requires them to cover the first $13). Rare BirdTravels Posted April 8, 2022 Author #116 Share Posted April 8, 2022 Ship capacity fun facts. There were approximately 400 reservations transferred from the Escape the week before departure (~800 passengers). This week, that was offset by ~300 staterooms that missed the ship because of weather delays in Florida. A very very very few of the passengers who missed the ship flew and met the ship in the Dominican Republic and St Thomas. There are stories of people driving from as far as Texas to make the cruise after their air reservations were cancelled.

I live in Tampa, the weather has been crazy, but the weather in north florida and into Alabama, Tennesee, and Georgia has been crazier!
DyeKat Posted April 8, 2022 #118 Share Posted April 8, 2022 Thank you so much for all this information!! I am going on the Encore out of Seattle. This is the best, most informative thread I've found - especially having never cruised with Norwegian before! I was wondering if there are hair dryers in the rooms. Trivial, I know, but it's one less thing I could pack! Thanks again!
