Abr155 Posted April 28, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2022 Hi all! I've seen many pics/videos of the sofa bed set up on the Legend or other Spirit class ships (not a pull out couch, but rather remove the back cushions and turn the sofa into a single bed). My question: do the bottom cushions lift up or are they fused to the couch bottom? Reason I ask is we are looking to make it a bed for our 2 year old for our October sailing, so we're bringing a bed rail or bumpers. We can get the inflatable bumpers that just go under the fitted sheet or an actual bed rail that would slide under the cushions (preferred because we already have one that breaks down into perfect travel size). Thanks!
Rare Buffettfan 225 Posted May 15, 2022 #2 Share Posted May 15, 2022 Our steward new a method to create a bumper using cushions. Not 00% on cushions, but think they do lift for tucking sheets in. Many years ago, our steward always remade it into a sofa, ask steward to leave it set up if you prefer say keeping it available for naps.
