How many of us attended this little pre-dinner affair...i usually go but the wife is bored out of her gored when the catpain gets up to give his usual rccl state of the dtaste canned speach about what's going on at and with royal caribbean cruise lines...the free drinks and food are pretty good...

We went on the Mariner. Capt. Johnny was ANYTHING but boring. A lot of it was like stand up comedy. The only part that got annoying was during the question and answer session there was a passenger that INSISTED on telling the captain every tiny detail he found wrong with the ship (he wasn't sitting at the dining table he wanted, his stateroom was a little too chilly) and demanded to know how the captain was going to fix it. Capt. Johnny handled it very well by apologizing to the man and having someone "attend" to his needs. :) Otherwise it was a really neat little party! :) We went after dinner, so we were already full, but BOY when some of those desserts come around, you just can't turn them down. :)
