A Royal Suite welcome…

Wow

So nice of them to do this for you.

Good to see you were treated well.

We just came back from a cruise on Explorer of the seas,

we had a Grand 2 bedroom suite.  No one greeted us at the

port, and the only food waiting for us in the suite were a few

cookies  for being diamond plus.

The whole Suites deal has been so much better than on Mariner.  They have treated us well and check on us often.  I can also see the Concierge taking notes and making calls about other folks in suites.

Ron — just wondering about Port Canaveral.  Did you leave and come back to Terminal 1?  I’ve read some posts where passengers left from Terminal1 and returned to Terminal5. I’m hoping that’s not the case with the Independence.

Thanks for sharing your trip with us!

Yes…we boarded and left the ship from the same terminal.  I believe Mariner has used both since we have been in the area.  They left from 5 the same day we did and it looked like they came back to one.

We have never done a 4 night cruise we

Always do 7 or longer. Are the shorter cruises more casual with the way people dress?

I've only done one short cruise and I find longer Caribbean cruises to be pretty casual to begin with, especially as the years have passed. No need to dress up on any cruise at this point unless you want to IMO.
