  1. Thanks, I didn't until someone across the street told me. Pretty funny but I am a pretty reliable source when it comes to included food. 😁 No idea when I even posted that.
  2. That’s not what I meant. I was referring to the cook-to-order pasta/wok stations that are set up that way in advance. Wonder had the same thing in June/July.
  3. I don't doubt it... but for all I know the OP doesn't care about cost. He didn't give much to go on other than asking for the best... and I think the suite neighborhood layout is superior to the older layout.
  4. If you're just talking about the ship, I'd take a look at the suite neighborhood layout of Wonder/Utopia. Everything is all right there in one spot unlike the others.
  5. Happy to hear this. Wonder's was definitely warm some days (unless you were able to grab the padded loungers by the a/c vents which made a big difference).
  6. Pretty sure you do on Icon and Utopia... just not on older ships where they just reclassified a handful of JS's as Sky Class after they came up with the idea. P.S. FWIW, not including wifi on all of them makes zero sense to me.
  7. It's more like getting 2 entrees than sides, which I like b/c I eat a lot and don't consider a steak overly filling. I have tried the carbonara (a dish I love but mine was thick and not as good as I'm used to at Giovanni's Table, not sure if it was a fluke or not), my wife's alfredo which was good, and the Giovanni's pizza with spicy salami and ricotta which I enjoyed. Sure, pizza and a steak/veal isn't exactly a normal pairing, lol, but that won't stop me from ordering it again. My problem with GK is there's too much I want to order. The first time we went I tried some apps instead of pizza and they were good but the meat plank is similar to charcuterie I can get elsewhere (WJ, CL, etc.) and the calamari was kind of heavy b/c it's served in large pieces (almost like fries) instead of the usual rings so I switched to pizza next time (which is also heavy of course, but you can always take some of it to go). My wife and I loved the chocolate ravioli and banana stromboli desserts as well. The tiramisu was good too. Hope that helps. Food is of course subjective... just b/c I liked certain things doesn't mean you will. But if your main goal is to have a good filet, as you can tell from all the responses, I wouldn't hesitate to get it at GK and try whatever else looks good to you to go with it.
  8. This... or get filet there instead of at Chops plus all the Italian options and amazing desserts.
  9. That's just how the show is and a complaint many have... it doesn't have as much diving as the other aqua shows. Keep an eye out for an extra show on night 7 called "Aqua Nation." For whatever reason it is usually not announced until day 7 and then will appear in the app. It's more of a showcase of skills... diving, slack line, aerial work, etc. I enjoyed it. No reservations accepted for that one.
  10. No. Once you're inside of 30 days out you can e-mail rcldining@rccl.com with your request. Make sure to put the name of the ship and sail date in the subject line or it will not be processed. FWIW, you can be more specific than 2-top if you like (they may or may not fulfill the request but it doesn't hurt). I always ask for a 2-top by a window on deck 4 and on our last 3 cruises we were one table away from the window and then had the same exact window table twice in a row so they do try to accommodate requests if they can. Hope this helps.
  11. MUCH MUCH better... I love the food at CocoCay. Labadee was more like a small section of WJ I had no desire to visit. We camp out by Oasis Lagoon between Chill Grill and a Snack Shack and go back and forth.
  12. I’ve been on Wonder 3X between March & July. The traditional seating times have always been 5:00 & 7:45. The “additional” time is 6:30 or 6:45 & offered to those who have MTD & reserve the earliest time. Royal is allegedly going to have 3 traditional times at some point but as of now you can’t ask for that middle time with traditional dining. Hope that helps.
  13. Food is subjective but I love Mason Jar brunch. It's currently only available on two ships. Mason Jar also has some unique drinks and a country trio that plays nightly that is very popular. You can go to the bar for drinks/music without eating there as well.
  14. Sorry for the quick hijack... dunno if you've seen/had it in the MDR for lunch but if you do, don't bother. You know I'm not picky and I'm all about eating onboard but we went to the MDR solely because I saw it on the menu last month on Wonder (we never do MDR lunch) and it was awful. Full of shrimp and filler.
  15. No issues for us last month. We were there on Wonder with Allure. It helps that we always get off the ship early and spend the day parked at our favorite spot by the Oasis Lagoon. It was nearly as much of a ghost town at 8:30am as it is when we've been there alone on Wonder. It didn't start to get crowded until after 10am as usual and even then it wasn't a big deal. Lines at both the nearest Snack Shack and Chill Grill (including the bar there) weren't bad at all. The pool eventually got more crowded but we mostly just hop in to cool off for a little bit and get back out... but it still wasn't overly crowded IMO. Perhaps if we had a different routine we would have had a different experience.
  16. https://www.soualigadestinations.com/most-popular-tour-for-cruise-ship-visitors/ Our favorite excursion in St. Martin. Not private but small group and you won't feel crowded. Two snorkel stops, a couple beaches, seeing the planes land at Maho from the boat, tasty lunch and beverages onboard, and a fun, fast speedboat ride in between stops.
  17. Was on Wonder 3X since March and early seating has been 5pm.
  18. I'm not confusing them. When I posted that both were under $1000 and I have seen both under $1000 before. As I'm sure you know, prices vary greatly from one ship/sailing to the next.
  19. You can also switch to any available cabin in the exact same category at no charge if booked from North America.
  20. Yeah, I don't get the policy either but whatever. No idea about a CC fee. There was no fee for the 50% deposit I paid online when I made my reservation. I paid the balance in cash upon arrival and also tipped in cash. Yes, we really enjoyed it. She barely drinks alcohol but had several of one flavor smoothie (I also had a couple when we first got there since it was before 9am and I'm not that hard core and agreed they were good). Later on she had a banana daiquiri or two and was fine. She's also not there to stuff herself like me, she's just picky so as long as she likes something we're all good. She enjoyed the pizza and I forget what else. I was busy eating fish tacos and coconut shrimp and drinking something frozen that was tasty. It wasn't gourmet and the drinks weren't strong but when you order street tacos and just want something cold that tastes good, it was exactly what I hoped for. If it wasn't so darn hot I likely would have eaten more. We don't currently have another Western booked but we'll definitely go back when we call on Cozumel again.
