Eurodam Aft Connecting Balconies - Remove/unlock partitions?

We will be on the Eurodam soon as we head to Alaska.  Our group has three adjoining cabins - AFT.  Has anyone ever asked the cabin steward to unlock the partitions?  I don't know if its different on the aft or not.  My travel agent said it's up to the captain to okay it .. based on weather?  Has anyone done this?

Thanks in advance!

Shouldn't be a problem with your request, but there are a limit of the total partitions per deck unlocked for fire safety reasons. The reason is so fire cannot spread. I believe three in a row may be the max. Get to your cabin steward quickly.
