Transportation from Dover to Heathrow

Recommended Posts

There are no shuttle services from Dover to Heathrow, and public transport goes two sides of a triangle via a change in central London.

So your options are ship's transfer bus or pre-booked private transfer.

Both the above are based in Folkestone, about 8 miles from Dover, so add I guess about £8 to £14 to their quoted £125 & £110.

We paid extra for a Princess transfer that included a walk in Dover and a stop in Canterbury. It was well worth the extra money we paid.

Not only was it a fine excursion, but it also felt like we were still on our vacation as opposed to the feeling you get you normally get that the cruise is over.

Try National Express.  They go from Dover to LHR.

No, there are no Nat Express coaches which go from Dover to Heathrow - you'd need one from Dover to Victoria coach station in central London, where you change to a coach going to LHR.

That's two tortuous sides of a triangle as per my last post, 4 hrs 10 mins to 5 hours, depending on connection times in London.

The direct route by car or ship's transfer bus takes half that time.
