Booking directly thru Viking

If you transfer to a TA you'll keep the same cabins and get $600 OBC. Assuming 11 day cruise and your TA gives you the maximum allowed.

It can't hurt to try. CC is the most strict site about mentioning TAs. I just sent them (TA used for a bunch of RCCL trips) and email.

The question is what is the downside?  My folks first Viking was June 2017 the weekend British Air had a IT fiasco, flights were mixed up and luggage never made it until 4 days or so after the cruise started in Bergen No. They did not book that one via Viking and had issues contacting the TA.
