Catholic Church in FLL

Not sure if this is the right place to post this question.

 

On our pre-cruise stay in FLL we would like to attend Mass either on Sat. night or Sun. morning. Does anyone know where the church is located and what the Mass schedule would be for March?

Ok, guys, I need alittle help here. Fort Lauderdale is a big place! Where will you be staying before your cruise? There are many churches to choose from.

I noticed your from Boca. We will be staying at the Renaissance in Boca by the mall. Any tips for a catholic church in that area. I will have a car.

We'll be staying in Ft. Lauderdale Beach at the holiday inn. We'll have a car.

I know there is a Catholic church in the area; friends of ours used it two weeks ago on a Sunday morning. Don't know the exact location, but they were staying at the Holiday Inn Convention Center on 17th Street (near Port Everglades). I believe the church was St. Anthony's.

I had forgotten about that website. Thanks! Does anyone know which of several that come up when I type 33020, would be closest to the La Quinta Inn and Suites. The address I have for the hotel is 2620 N. 26th Ave. in Hollywood, FL.

If you go to the website for St. Anthony's the other poster mentioned, you can get their address. Then go to mapquest with your hotel's address and you can check out the directions and distance.

The Catholic Church of St Maurice is 2.5 miles from the LaQuinta. Go north on Oakwood Blvd (the road that runs thru the shopping center) to Stirling Road. Turn left (west) on Stirling and proceed about 1/2 mile to the church. It's an easy ride, 5 minutes from LQ. ;)

Thanks for the name of St. Maurice's, Bequia. So much easier to have a name than to do mapquest searches on 10 and then still not be sure if you are picking the right one!

Most hotels have a list of churches and times at the front desk. We have always found this to be useful to find the closest church and Mass times. All the cruises I have been on have also had a priest on board. There was usually Mass everyday. I know this can differ from cruise line to cruise line.
