Carnival travel insurance-not in NY?

While attempting to book a cruise I noticed that Carnival’s recommended travel insurance is not available to residents of New York. What company do people use for insurance. Obviously I’d want to get it!

New York does not allow Cancel for Any Reason insurance because the state regulators do not consider it to be insurance. It does not protect against a risk, only the choice of the policyholder.

 

The online websites that sell travel insurance all have search features that require you to enter your state of residence so that the results will be policies meeting your state’s requirements.
