Inter port sailings: the testing changed again??

Recommended Posts

Hi we are on an inter port sailing out of Rome on the Wonder of the Seas. I initially understood that even  vaccinated guests would need to have a negative antigen within one day of sailing. The other day I received an update from royal indicating that vaccinated guests can test 2 days before but unvaccinated guests need to test within one day. Am I reading this right? I guess I could call Royal to verify it but some of the reps seem unsure of the new protocols. Does anyone have some insight on this?

Yes, RCI updated the testing requirements again.

Thanks. I hope it stays this way ( or eliminated which seems unlikely ). We are getting to Italy the day before the cruise, so this enables me to test before I board the plane in NY, avoiding the possibility of an unpleasant surprise positive test once I’m already in Italy.
