What ship are you going on?  That will help figure out what balcony you have.  I think the Forward facing Haven Suites only have small side balconies on the Breakaway and Plus class, unsure of the others.

We were on the Jewel in forward facing owners suite. It had a front balcony and a side balcony. It was an Alaskan cruise. The front balcony could be windy if standing at the rail but if you were in a lounge chair the wind wasn’t bad. The forward balcony was great for viewing the beautiful sites and glaciers in Alaska.

We were on a forward owners suite on the Dawn (#9006).  Wind on the front balcony while underway depended on ship direction and wind direction: if we were headed south and the wind was from the north, basically no apparent breeze on the forward balcony.  If headed south and wind was from the south we didn't even bother trying to open the front balcony door, but the side balcony was fine.
