Losnab Posted June 3, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 3, 2022 Wonder if anybody has experience with hopping onto regular internet service from their mobile when docked at the Canada Place Pier. Would like to book a virtual Covid Test when returning to port because we plan to head straight to the airport and fly home from Vancouver. I understand the internet on board can be flaky so it would make sense to do it early in the AM when docked in the convenience of our cabin - before debarking.. To the best of my recollection as soon as we are docked at most ports I have been able to get regular internet service using my own plan which is more reliable and faster then the ships service. Canada place is in the downtown core. You should have cell coverage if your in a outside cabin. Not certain how good the coverage would be inside the ship. You may want to confirm the cost of roaming in Canada with your cell provider. For some countries it is dirt cheap. For others it is very expensive.
