So, grabbed a bus after we disembarked for $25.  Took us to Old San Juan, New San Juan, the downtown area, and the fort.  Well worth the $25.  Had the bus drop me off in the shopping area.  “UMBRELLA STREET” is under construction.  

 

Walked back to the ship, as I’ve been out all day. Sailaway is later on tonight.  So, it’s been a good day to explore, and I may go out a little later to grab dinner.

I usually bring a thick plastic bag (ziplock) that's just a tad smaller than the NCL paper bags and really PACK the dirty clothes in and then put that inside the paper bag.  You can fit a bit more without ripping the bag that way.

Thanks for the info @graphicguy!  is this a tour bus? Sounds interesting.  Thanks for taking you along with you!  Very much looking forward to my 10 day on the Gateway in November 🙂

I actually jumped off the bus in the down town area so I could explore a little on my own.
 

Given we had sailaway so late, I wasn’t worried about missing the ship.  Worse came to worst, the ship was a 45 min-1 hour walk away.

Casino report….BlackJack and Craps.  Was down $400 at one point.  Came back to “only down” $50 by the end of the night.  If nothing else, I’m consistent…consistently bad.  Lady playing video poker behind our table hit for $20,000 though!
