Hello all fellow cruisers. In November I will be staying at the Crown Plaza for a pre-cruise stay. There is a total of 10 people in my party. In a week we will be doing our on line check-in where we choose our arrival time at the cruise. So just wondering is anyone knew the time the shuttle runs? and what is the cost? Thanks all. I will call the hotel if needed, but hoping not to have to

Thanks for the info @MSN-Travelers! I decided to just stick with the ships excursions. Turns out that my family members I was worried so much about told me that they don't really want to do excursions. They just want to relax or the ship. 🙂 So i only have to worry about me & hubby and he has to do what I decided. 😄 Now I just have to wait until November!! Happy cruising all.

Hello fellow cruisers 🙂. I will be cruising the the Mexican Riviera for the first time in November 2023. When I visit the Caribbean I usually book tours with independent vendors, which I find my reading Cruise Critic. For the Mexican Riviera I am finding very little information...so I went on an internet search. I found a few tours that I am thinking about and wondering if anyone has any experience with the companies. They are: Cabo - Grayline Los Cabos Puerto Vallarta - Puerto Vallarta Tours by Johann & Sandra Mazatlán - Mazatlán Red Truck Or if anyone else has any recommendations that would also be great. I am traveling with my family from age 3 to grandpa. So not interested in adventure (no ATV or ZipLine) or wine/ tequila tasting. Thanks in advance!

Hello fellow cruise enthusiasts! On an upcoming cruise on the Bliss I am booked in a 2 bedroom suite, and there will be a total of 5 people in the room. Yes, I know....that's a lot of people for that room. But it is what it is. For some reason the cruise I am on has gotten very expensive (November 5 2023 - anyone know what's going on? I have found that cruising in November usually also means lower prices). Any who.... does anyone recall the storage space in the main living area? I have traveled in the two bedroom before, but with only 3 people so never really paid attention as the storage in the bedrooms was more than sufficient.

Hello Cruisers! My family & I are planning a cruise on the Bliss and my son has a slight addiction to Sugar Free Monster drinks. Can anyone tell me if Sugar Free Monsters are available? and if they are what is the cost? My daughter-in law loves Starbucks so trying to figure out if its more cost efficient to get the premium package. (with everything else that will be available with it). Thanks all 🙂

Hi Neighbor! I recently booked a cruise, and was given the military discount. When I received my confirmation it wasn't listed as a line item discount, the price per person was listed with the discount already included. Not sure how it works with an existing reservation, but hopefully they should be able to apply it without rebooking.

Hi @mitsugirly, you can use two certificates if the cruise is more than 6 months in advance.

For my upcoming cruise in November we are using the air through NCL. My son is traveling with someone who has never cruised before - so no latitudes number. Once we got a copy of the reservation we noticed that there was no JR. at the end of the name (which we told them when we were booking). So I called NCL back to add the jr. She said she added it, and was resending. Once we got the updated version - still no jr. I called back again, and the person told me that they were seeing the jr on the reservation and I had nothing to worry about. Still I wanted to actually see the reservation with the correct name. So I once again called (now mind you, with each of these calls I was on hold for at least an hour. Once I had to hang up after waiting over an hour because a call was coming in I had to take). The person I spoke to assured me that the air tickets would have Jr on them. Told me the only thing I could do was to set up a latitudes account for this person to verify. Looked into how to do that, but couldn't figure it out - all I found was that after sailing you would automatically be enrolled. Fast forward to a month ago - got air reservations. Guess what - no Jr. aaauuugggghhh. Another phone call. that phone call transferred me to the air department. This person told me - "we reserve with the name on your reservation, let me look into it." was on hold a bunch of minutes, and the person came back and told me that it was incorrect but they corrected it. Of course she informs me that its only updated with TSA which is what is important. Asked her how do I verify this, and she told me I can't. So making sure names are correct maybe only half the battle. I looked up on the TSA website, and found that "jr" is an acceptable deviation in name & ID - so hopefully no problems. We will find out in 28 days. Wish me luck all!

Well this is disturbing! I have in the past had a concierge tell me "if you can't get a reservation, I can't get a reservation". When he said that I almost fell down. this was on a smaller ship, and he did it during his introduction. but never had the problem you are describing

Wish I did! I put the water & soda package in my basket - but then didn't check out. My cruise isn't until November and I figured I had plenty of time. Lesson learned. In today's market all prices are increasing, so I guess I should have knew better.

They raised the price of the soda package & the water packages. Wish we were given some kind of warning before they did so. 😞
