bricks609 Posted June 4, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 4, 2022 We are booked in Verandah cabin 5087 for an upcoming Alaska cruise the last week in August. Looking at the deck plans, there will be lifeboats below us on deck 4. Will this make our view partially blocked or will the view be OK from this balcony? I still have time to change cabins if the view will not be all that great. This will be our first Alaskan cruise and our first cruise on HAL. Looking forward to it. Thanks in advance. Cruise Suzy Posted June 4, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 4, 2022 If you go to halfacts.com you can look at the following Vista class photos for views over the lifeboats - doesn't matter which ship: 5071, 5086, 5103, 5112, 5120

After looking at the view, I think I may want to make a change.
Heartgrove Posted June 5, 2022 #4 Share Posted June 5, 2022 You may consider the aft section where the deck widens out. No lifeboats below to interfere with the view and still a good ride.
