We begin our cruise tour in Fairbanks on the 19th. Do the lodges have facilities to do laundry?

What Lodge will you plan to do laundry? Denali Wilderness Lodge says on their fact sheet that they have laundry. Mt. McKinley Lodge-  I don’t believe they have guest laundry, no definite answer on that. They might though.( call the lodge directly)

Perhaps if you let others know what lodge you’re interested in doing laundry somebody can come forward. There’s a few LIve froms  right now for a land tour.( Steelers.... comes to mind as the thread starter)

I know when we took our Alaska cruise tour several ,several years ago there would’ve been no time for us to do laundry as we were off seeing the sites and or exhausted. We did the Land tour first and then the cruise.

We started a land tour in Fairbanks as well. We were only there two nights,

never looked for a laundry room. All the others DO have laundry facilities, after long days touring, found myself finishing up laundry near MN.  Enjoy your trip!

We will be at the Denali, Mt.McKinley and Kenai lodges.

If you go to www.princesslodges.com

there is a fact sheet for each lodge,of course not sure how up to date it is,but....

i would definitely call the lodge that you think you might need to do laundry at, to double check..

A word of warning, there is a quarter shortage in Alaska. We were warned by the McKinley Lodge that this was the case (McKinley was our mid-point lodge so we planned on laundry there). When we got there last week that was exactly the situation. Members of our tour group were searching from building to building to find change machines that had some left. Good thing we knew in advance and brought two rolls of quarters with us.
