Phone service in the Baltic

Yes, you can use your phone even when you're not in port. But, the charges can be quite high. On my last Summit cruise, it was $6.50 a minute. Don't bother with the pre-paid phone cards---they don't work anywhere.

 

Did you have to call the phone company first or...and when you called, did you have to type in the country code first and the number.
