aeronan Posted February 28, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2006 Hi Does anyone know if NCL keeps their time on the same time as the port of departure during the cruise? Janet
electricron Posted February 28, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 28, 2006 No. Sometimes NCL isn't even at the same time when in port as the port. Always keep you watches on ships' time. NCL will always publish changes of ship's time in the Freestyle Daily.
Hockey19 Posted February 28, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 28, 2006 The Sun changed time based on the time zone we were in. We lost an hour half way through and picked it back up at the end.
aeronan Posted February 28, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted February 28, 2006 The Sun changed time based on the time zone we were in. We lost an hour half way through and picked it back up at the end. How can I find this out in advance? I'm trying to book private shore excursions. Anyone else have any past experience with what the ship did with the change in time zones? Thanks Janet
kato92 Posted February 28, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 28, 2006 I, too, am trying to find out this information for the Star and Puerto Vallarto. I leave tomorrow and need to finalize a massage appointment. Please pamper me.;)
cmdchiefthom Posted February 28, 2006 #6 Share Posted February 28, 2006 During all my cruises, the arrival time listed in the brochure is local port time, which has also been ship's time. Hope this helps.;)

judyf Posted February 28, 2006 #8 Share Posted February 28, 2006 Unfortunately no. I have been on many cruises where they announce to pay attention to ship time because the port time is different. Ditto for me. Some ports the same, some an hour or even 2 hours different then ship time. All depends, on what I have no clue.
