Hi all,

Looking for some help with our 7 nt Fjords cruise from Southampton in July.

Im contemplating upgrading our room to a celebrity suite, but I have already added the elevate package on to our balcony stateroom. Would we receive the £350.00 back since the suites already come with premium drinks / Wifi / excursion credit?

any help greatly appreciated!!

J

If you successfully upgrade through Move Up you do not get the Premium beverage, Stream wi-fi or OBC or extra Captains Club points.  You keep what you had with your booking before move up.  What you do get is a suite, access to the Retreat Lounge, Retreat Sundeck and Luminae becomes your assigned dining room.

Ah I see, so you are only entitled to the premium benefits if booking a suite from the start? Thanks for that.

Can anyone advise if the upgrades to the suite option is worthwhile? Specifically sunset / celebrity suite

thank you

You can do a direct upgrade where you contact Celebrity and move to a suite, avoiding Move Up. You get the full benefits that way.

Whether it's worth it is entirely up to you. You'll get many opinions on that.

For us whether or not it is worth it depends on cost, length of cruise, port intensive or lots of sea days, E class ship or not, revolutionized ship or not revolutionized.  We don't care for the Luminae menu ( others do) so that amenity has no value to us but we do love the Retreat Sun Deck/Lounge  on the EClass ships so generally would pay more for a suite on E class than M or S.
