Courtyard Marriott Miami airport West Doral?

Wondering if anyone has stayed at Courtyard Marriott Miami airport west/Doral?  There will be 12 of us. We just need 1 night pre-cruise in January. Thoughts?  Also wondering if anyone has booked a shuttle or taken an Uber from here to POM and remember ballpark of how much they paid for that?  Thanks for any info you may have!

Doral is west of MIA, so farther away from the port.  Taxi from MIA to POM is about $28 so your fare will be higher. 

 

I would call the hotel to see if they can suggest a shuttle company to take all 12 of you together and also reach out to Larry's Limos.
