MommytoAsquared Posted July 20, 2022 #101 Share Posted July 20, 2022 Last cruise we had to be out of our rooms by 630 and off the ship by 8. I won't do that again.
cableguynoe Posted July 21, 2022 #102 Share Posted July 21, 2022 If my girlfriend can't go, that's a deal breaker for me. Stuck on a ship with just the wife would be too much!
MSseawind Posted July 21, 2022 #103 Share Posted July 21, 2022 Deal breaker for me is they take away my early dining and I have to decide when and where to eat. My favorite thing on a cruise is no decisions to make. And I often travel with 4 or 5 other women—That’s too many opinions on when and where to eat!
cableguynoe Posted July 21, 2022 #104 Share Posted July 21, 2022 If I see smoke or the ship is taking in any water, that's a deal breaker for me.

I actually like both balcony and inside rooms for different reasons (depending on ship). The common areas of the Dream class ships can be so brutally packed on sea days, so I prefer my own quiet balcony on those ships, otherwise, I love the quiet darkness of inside cabins (I sleep so well) on the ships where I know I can find a quiet secluded public area when I want to. This! I did an interior with my adult daughter and it was just fine. I love having a balcony when my hubby and I cruise. I wake up a lot earlier than he does and I love to sit outside and watch the ocean and the sunrise or read.
Shaded Lady Posted July 22, 2022 #106 Share Posted July 22, 2022 I honestly can't think of anything that would be a 'deal breaker'... some things happening last minute would be a disappointment, other things might make me look for a different ship, itinerary or sail date... Now I have my PREFERENCES- balcony, 7 day or more, newer ship, cruise date with fewer kids, cheaper cost, new ports... but hey, I'd take a 3 day Bahamas itinerary in an interior on the oldest ship, if it meant I could cruise! Now He Who Will Sulk (as opposed to She Who Must Be Obeyed) often overrides many of my options! But since it means I'm getting a cruise, I don't usually complain! 1
