Has anyone done this tour recently from cruise ship port.  Can you tell me about how long the bus ride is to and from?

I did it in March. It’s at least a hour, between an hour to a hour and a half. We’ve done it twice through Native Choice, highly highly recommend. You will not be disappointed and they will easily make sure you’re back in time. The nice thing on the way back is you have the AC to cool you off from the jungle.

We did this tour through Native Choice pre-pandemic and had a good time. The bus was comfortable and the AC worked well. The tour guide pointed out interesting things along the way and it stopped once so you could buy fresh pineapple from vendors along the highway.

We toured it last November through a RC ship excursion. My husband insisted on a ship tour after learning the ruins were over an hour from the port.  They did a nice job and all four of us enjoyed the place.
