How is a Voom "Day" calculated?

Is the D+ Voom benefit based on a 24-hour time period, or is it simply based on the day of the week no matter what time of day you activate the benefit?

It doesn’t matter what time of the day you start it, it just ends 24 hours later.

Actually I can always get a extra 12 plus hours out of my 2 days. I go online at midnight on thursday and get from Thursday thru when I depart the ship on Sunday. There is actually a place to click to get the rest of the cruise .. and it has been $2 less than what the 2 day rate would be.

Thursday Friday and saturday all night until early sunday is more than 48 hours. Worked every time so far. .. this is what I have been doing to get extra free time.
