The malecon is pedestrian only. The road is one block inland.I have never seen motorized vehicles allowed, only bikes and Segway’s used to be available.

It may be pedestrian but no one said anything to us or the other golf carts that we weren’t supposed to be driving there.

That isn’t what the  golf cart map suggests but with all that is going on in Costa Maya and Mahahual I am not surprised.

Sounds like we were missing a golf cart map! Never received or even saw one. Now we know. Thanks!
