DiRonT Posted August 4, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2022 She is at Berth 93 in San Pedro. Looks like she is on schedule for restart in September. Hoping the Sapphire will be on the same track to arrive San Pedro in about 15 or 16 days
skynight Posted August 4, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 4, 2022 Probably will be loading supplies, crew and USCG inspections. Don't expect she will stay docked the entire month. Too expensive. Will probably move to another location until she returns for the September 1st sailing.

Port schedule shows her at B93 until Sept. 27th. I was surprised, because of the cost.

Actually she is scheduled to be home ported in San Diego from her first sailing on September 1st until she sails to Japan in mid February. The port schedule can not be correct. toofewcruises Posted August 4, 2022 #7 Share Posted August 4, 2022 There were questions as to whether the Diamond would make it to the West Coast... And we were all concerned about our cruises. Looks like the Diamond will be ready for us! After sailing on the Regal, I am looking forward to the Promenade deck... Lounding on the Promenade deck, with a good book in hand, and a cocktail. What could be more perfect?

Actually if she follows the previous patterns of the Royal & Emerald right before returning to service, after a day or two at B93, she'll head out to the Long Beach deep water anchorage area just a few miles at sea just outside LA harbor area, and will for the next weeks periodically return to B43-B46 the secondary San Pedro cruise piers for new crew joining the ship and entering into their mandatory onboard 14 day quarantines Presumably the reason for the super slow 16 day transit from Manila was also for the acquired Filipino crew from Manila to use the transit time as their full quarantine period before arrival in the USA . .
