? For those that have been on NCL on NYE

We will be on the Breakaway for New Year’s Eve. We will be making reservations soon.
       If you’ve been on this ship or another NCL ship for this Holiday, do the Main dining rooms have a special menu,(champagne, lobster or other special menu items), or are we better off dining in one of the speciality restaurants?

The last time I did a New Year's Eve, I do not remeber anything special in the dinning rooms.  

Champagne will be served throuhout the ship at midnight.

The cruise will be very full and very noisy.

I would do a Christmas Eve/ Christmas Day cruise again in a heartbeat but NOT a New Year's Eve cruise.

We were on Joy last New Years, there was a HUGE deck party with champagne for the countdown but no special dinner in the MDR

We were on the Epic a few years back for NYE - nothing special that I remember in the MDR or any DR for that matter.  

 

Huge deck party, lots of music, noise makers, streamers, champagne - we were able to score passes to POSH for the week, which overlooked the activities.

 

Great cruise - would do it again.

We were on the Escape and ate in the Manhattan Room on New Year's Eve and there was not a special menu.
