Confirm my date for Covid testing

I sail on September 1 (thurs). If I understand right, I cant test until tomorrow. Please confirm.

From the FAQ - so yes you can test tomorrow if your sailing says 2 days befoe

 

How do I calculate which days I may take my pre-cruise COVID-19 test?

When calculating which days you can take your test, be aware that the day you set sail is not counted as one of the days, unless the country of embarkation stipulates that the test be taken within 24 hours of arrival.

For example, if you are setting sail on a Saturday, and you are required to test 3 days before your sailing, you can take your test on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday; and for 2 days in advance, you can take the test Thursday or Friday.

Forgot to say this was a british isles cruise that only goes to England/Ireland.

Yes and no.  My Alaska cruise goes to Canada and they require it.  If we didn't have to stop in Canada, I probably would not have had to test.

If I sail on a Saturday out of Spain and a COVID-19 test is required no more than 3 full calendar days in advance, can I take the test in the US on Wednesday morning?  It would be much easier to take it in the US before I fly on Wednesday evening.  Thanks for any help.
