what can i bring on board

i have cruised carnival often. Celebrity pre pandemic.  Does X have any bonvoyage type offerings?   Carnival sells 12 water for like 4 or 5 dollars . Can i bring water on at  port Everglades . Also can soda be brought on at Port Everglades . tia

You can purchase a water package if you don't already have a beverage package.  It can be found with the Drink Packages.  If you have already booked, it will be in your Cruise Planner.  They also have non-alcoholic packages.  All alcoholic beverage packages include water and soda.  Depending on the package you have, different brands are available.  The packages include unlimited items from bars, restaurants, etc...

As for carrying on.  If you look under their FAQ's: Before You Board and then What Not To Pack... you will see it says no alcoholic or non-alcoholic items can be brought on.  However, 2 bottles of wine per person are allowed.  I've read that people have brought water and/or soda but I do not know if it is in fact allowed.

Yup, can bring a case of a water or soda to the porter, they'll place a luggage tag on it and it'll eventually be placed in front of your stateroom door.

Just a suggestion - the water from the tap is better than the bottled so bring a refillable water bottle (my favorite is stainless steel to keep things cooler).  I fill it from my room tap and then add ice if desired.
